§ 5-435. Program established

Latest version.

(a) In general. -- There is a Pamela J. Kelly Tree-Mendous Maryland Program in the Department.

(b) Purpose. -- The Program is established for the purpose of planting native trees and shrubs on public lands, community open spaces, school grounds, and rights-of-way.

(c) Administration. -- The Department shall administer the Program.

(d) Regulations. -- The Department may adopt regulations to carry out this part.
