§ 17-410. License fees; disposition of money

(a) License fees. --
(1) An applicant for a pinball machine license shall pay to the clerk a license fee of:
(i) $ 10 for each free-play pinball machine in Caroline County, Kent County, or Queen Anne's County; or
(ii) $ 20 for each free-play pinball machine in Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Dorchester County, Harford County, Montgomery County, or Talbot County.
(2) An applicant for a console machine license shall pay to the clerk a license fee of:
(i) $ 25 for each free-play console machine in Caroline County, Kent County, or Queen Anne's County; or
(ii) $ 35 for each free-play console machine in Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Dorchester County, Harford County, or Talbot County.
(b) Additional fees in certain counties. --
(1) Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and Harford County may impose fees in addition to the license fee required under subsection (a) of this section.
(2) In Harford County:
(i) an applicant for a pinball machine license shall pay an additional fee of $ 20 for each free-play pinball machine; and
(ii) an applicant for a console machine license shall pay an additional fee of $ 35 for each free-play console machine.
(c) Prorated fees. -- The license fee shall be prorated monthly.
(d) Disposition of money. -- All money collected under Part II of this subtitle shall be paid into the general fund of the county where it is collected.
