§ 11-204. Quorum; meetings; compensation; staff

  •    (a) Quorum. -- A majority of the authorized membership of the Board is a quorum.

    (b) Meetings. -- The Board shall determine the times and places of its meetings.

    (c) Compensation and reimbursement for expenses. --

       (1) Subject to paragraph (2) of this subsection and to the State budget, each member of the Board is entitled to:

          (i) compensation of $ 500 per year, to be paid out of money that the Board collects; and

          (ii) reimbursement for expenses under the Standard State Travel Regulations.

       (2) The Secretary or designee of the Secretary is not entitled to compensation under this subsection.

    (d) Staff. -- The Board may employ a staff in accordance with the State budget.
