§ 8-213.2. Harford County -- Continuing care facility for the aged license

(a) Applicability. -- This section applies only in Harford County.
(b) License authorized. -- There is a Class CCFA (continuing care facility for the aged) beer, wine and liquor license in Harford County.
(c) Requirements. -- The Liquor Control Board may issue a Class CCFA license to a continuing care facility for the aged that:
(1) Provides continuing care as defined in § 10-401 of the Human Services Article;
(2) Is licensed as a related institution under Title 19, Subtitle 3 of the Health - General Article;
(3) Is certified by the Department of Aging;
(4) Is exempt from federal income tax under § 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code; and
(5) Is located in Harford County.
(d) Authority granted. -- A Class CCFA license authorizes the holder to sell beer, wine, and liquor on the licensed premises:
(1) For consumption only on the licensed premises; and
(2) During the hours and days for sale specified in § 11-513(b)(1) of this article.
(e) Distance restrictions inapplicable. -- The distance restrictions in § 9-213(b) of this article do not apply to the holder of a Class CCFA license.
(f) Fee. -- The annual license fee is $ 5,000.
