§ 6-203. Executive Director

   (a) Position. -- The head of the Administration is the Executive Director.

(b) Responsibility to Commission; duties, salary. --

   (1) The Executive Director shall report directly to the Commission.

   (2) Subject to the authority of the Commission, the Executive Director is responsible for carrying out:

      (i) The powers and duties vested by law in the Administration; and

      (ii) The regulations adopted by the Commission.

   (3) The Executive Director is entitled to the salary provided in the State budget.
