§ 14-105.1. Secured party to notify police of repossession

(a) Notice required. -- Every secured party who takes possession of a vehicle in which he has a security interest shall immediately inform the police that he has done so.

(b) Duty to give identifying information to police. -- Every secured party who takes possession of a vehicle in which the secured party has a security interest shall give any identifying information about the vehicle that the police reasonably request.
