§ 13-924. Truck tractors: Class F (tractor) vehicles -- Farm truck tractor registration

  •    (a) "Farm truck tractor" defined. -- In this section, "farm truck tractor" means a farm vehicle that is a Class F (tractor) vehicle.

    (b) Application for registration. -- On application, the Administration shall issue a Class F "farm truck tractor" registration to any applicant who certifies:

       (1) That the applicant is a farmer; and

       (2) That the vehicle for which the application is made is a farm truck tractor, specifying its proposed use.

    (c) Annual fee. -- For each farm truck tractor the annual registration fee is based on the maximum gross weight of the vehicle in combination with a trailer or semitrailer, as follows:

    (d) Prohibited uses -- Vehicle for hire. -- A vehicle registered under this section may not be used for hire except to haul farm products for another farmer.

    (e) Prohibited uses -- Use in manner other than as farm truck tractor. -- A vehicle registered under this section may not be used in any manner other than as a farm truck tractor.
