§ 13-702. Driving vehicle when registration canceled, suspended, or revoked

(a) Prohibited. -- A person may not drive a vehicle on any highway in this State, if the registration of the vehicle has been canceled, suspended, or revoked.
(b) Permitting vehicle to be driven with canceled, suspended, or revoked registration. -- An owner of a vehicle may not knowingly permit the vehicle to be driven on a highway in this State, if the registration of the vehicle has been canceled, suspended, or revoked.
