§ 9-206. Duties

(a) Uniform laws. -- In addition to any duties set forth elsewhere, the Commission shall:
(1) represent the State in the National Conference;
(2) meet with representatives of other states in the National Conference;
(3) draft uniform laws and model acts for submission to and adoption by the states;
(4) recommend the best action to accomplish uniformity in legislation; and
(5) otherwise seek the best means to obtain uniformity in the laws of the states.
(b) Annual report. --
(1) Before each regular session of the General Assembly, the Commission shall submit an annual report:
(i) to the Governor; and
(ii) subject to § 2-1246 of this article, to the General Assembly.
(2) The annual report shall:
(i) describe the activities of the Commission; and
(ii) include recommendations on appropriate subjects.
