§ 4-408. Report on public improvements

(a) In general. -- On or before May 31 of each year, each unit of the State government shall send a report on the condition of each public improvement under its jurisdiction to:
(1) the Department of Budget and Management; and
(2) the Department of General Services.
(b) Content of report. -- The report shall:
(1) identify the public improvement; and
(2) state whether the public improvement is being maintained in accordance with the policies and standards established by the Department of General Services.
(c) Recommendations. -- With the assistance of the Department of Budget and Management, the Department of General Services shall recommend measures necessary to correct deficiencies in the maintenance and repair programs.
