§ 3A-606. Distribution of newspapers in a computerized audio format

(a) Annual payment for distribution by Division of Library Development and Services. -- The Department in consultation with the Board and the Department of Disabilities shall enter into an agreement with the State Department of Education, Division of Library Development and Services, providing for an annual payment to be made to the Division in an amount equal to the cost incurred for the distribution of newspapers in a computerized audio format.
(b) In general. -- Under the agreement, the Division of Library Development and Services shall provide eligible blind and disabled individuals with access to newspapers in a computerized audio format by a qualified entity.
