§ 3-608. Revolving Preliminary Planning Fund

  •    (a) Fund established. -- In the annual budget the Governor shall provide a sum sufficient to establish a Revolving Preliminary Planning Fund under the jurisdiction of the Board of Public Works.

    (b) Advances permitted. -- On the recommendation of the Department, the Board of Public Works may authorize money to be advanced from the Revolving Preliminary Planning Fund for preliminary plans, studies, designs, and outline specifications for any project that is part of the capital improvement program.

    (c) Requirement for reimbursement. -- Any money advanced from the Revolving Preliminary Planning Fund shall be reimbursed to the Fund:

       (1) from general funds; or

       (2) with the approval of the Board of Public Works, from:

          (i) the annual general construction loan; or

          (ii) any other special loan funds separately authorized by the General Assembly.
