§ 10-202. Condemnation of property

(a) Scope of section. -- This section does not apply to property to be acquired in connection with State roads, bridges, or highways.

(b) Power of Board. -- Subject to Title 12 of the Real Property Article, the Board may condemn property for State use.

(c) Regulations. -- The Department of General Services, with the approval of the Board, shall adopt regulations in accordance with Title 10, Subtitle 1 of the State Government Article that establish a uniform method of determining the value of any applicable life estate discount for property condemned in accordance with this section.
