§ 8-302. Calls to operator at pay phone

  •    (a) Calls without coins. -- A telephone company doing business in the State that has coin pay telephones located on outdoor sites shall provide a method to place calls to the operator without requiring the insertion of coins into the telephone.

    (b) Cost of providing service. -- The cost of providing the method of placing calls required in subsection (a) of this section is a reasonable and necessary cost of providing telephone service.
