§ 1-209. Penalties

  •    (a) Penalty for violation of subtitle. -- Any person who violates any provision of this subtitle is guilty of a misdemeanor. Upon conviction, the person is subject to a fine not exceeding $ 500, or imprisonment not exceeding three months, or both, with costs imposed in the discretion of the court.

    (b) Violation of rule, regulation, or restriction. -- Any violation of any rule or regulation, or restriction promulgated pursuant to the provision of this subtitle, is a misdemeanor and is punishable as provided in subsection (a) of this section.
