§ 27-101. Violation; penalty.

  •    (a) Charge of violation. -- A charge alleging a violation of this division may be brought by warrant or indictment on the oath or information of a member or employee of the Commission or any other person.

    (b) Jurisdiction. -- Except as otherwise provided, a misdemeanor under this division may be adjudicated before the District Court or the circuit court of the county in which the violation is committed.

    (c) Penalty. --

       (1) Except as otherwise provided in this division, a person who violates this division is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to imprisonment not exceeding 90 days or a fine not exceeding $ 500 or both.

       (2) Each day that a violation of this division continues is a separate violation.
