§ 11-343. False or misleading information

(a) Prohibited acts. -- A person may not willfully withhold information from or knowingly give false or misleading information to the Commissioner, a statistical agency designated by the Commissioner, a rating organization, or an insurer if the information will affect the rates or premiums chargeable under this subtitle.
(b) Penalties. -- A person that violates this section:
(1) is subject to the penalties provided in § 11-344 of this subtitle; and
(2) if the violation is committed with intent to deceive, is guilty of perjury and subject to prosecution for perjury in a court of competent jurisdiction.
