§ 8-710. Operating without a license

(a) Prohibited. -- A person may not operate a residential child care program in the State without a license.
(b) Penalty. -- A person who violates subsection (a) of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $ 1,000 for each day of operation.
