§ 8-402. State Coordinating Council.

(a) Membership. -- The Council consists of the following members:
(1) the Executive Director of the Governor's Office for Children, or the Executive Director's designee;
(2) the Secretary of Juvenile Services, or the Secretary's designee;
(3) the Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene, or the Secretary's designee;
(4) the Secretary of Human Resources, or the Secretary's designee; and
(5) the State Superintendent of Schools, or the Superintendent's designee.
(b) Nonvoting ex officio Council member -- Secretary of Budget and Management. -- The Secretary of Budget and Management, or the Secretary's designee, shall serve as a nonvoting ex officio Council member.
(c) Nonvoting ex officio Council member -- Secretary of Disabilities. -- The Secretary of Disabilities, or the Secretary's designee, shall serve as a nonvoting ex officio Council member.
(d) Rotating members. -- The Children's Cabinet shall designate up to three individuals to serve on the Council on a rotating basis to represent each of the following stakeholder groups:
(1) family members or family advocates; and
(2) youth or youth advocates.
