§ 5-203. Executive Director

  •    (a) In general. -- The Executive Director is the head of the Administration.

    (b) Appointment. -- With the approval of the Governor, the Secretary shall appoint the Executive Director.

    (c) Tenure. -- The Executive Director serves at the pleasure of the Secretary.

    (d) Compensation. -- The Executive Director is entitled to the compensation provided in the State budget.
