§ 8-706. Employing an unlicensed person

  •    (a) Practice registered nursing. -- A person may not knowingly employ to practice registered nursing any person who is not authorized to practice registered nursing under this title.

    (b) Practice licensed practical nursing. -- A person may not knowingly employ to practice licensed practical nursing any person who is not authorized to practice licensed practical nursing under this subtitle.

    (c) Perform delegated nursing duties. -- A person may not knowingly employ any individual who is not authorized to perform delegated nursing duties under this subtitle.

    (d) Practice as certified nursing assistant. -- A person may not knowingly employ to practice as a certified nursing assistant any person who is not authorized to practice as a certified nursing assistant under this title.

    (e) Practice as certified medication technician. -- A person may not knowingly employ to practice as a certified medication technician any person who is not authorized to practice as a certified medication technician under this title.

    (f) Practice as certified medicine aide. -- A person may not knowingly employ to practice as a certified medicine aide any person who is not authorized to practice as a certified medicine aide under this title.
