§ 15-316. Fines

(a) In general. -- If, after a hearing under § 15-315 of this subtitle, a disciplinary panel finds that there are grounds for discipline under § 15-314(a) of this subtitle to suspend or revoke a license of a physician assistant or to reprimand a licensed physician assistant, the disciplinary panel may impose a fine subject to the Board's regulations instead of or in addition to suspending or revoking the license or reprimanding the licensee.

(b) Payment into General Fund. -- The Board shall pay any fines collected under this section into the General Fund of the State.
