§ 18-301. Treatment of cancer

  •    (a) Misrepresentations. -- Except for a physician or a dentist, a person may not:

       (1) Treat or prescribe a treatment for cancer; or

       (2) Represent to the public that the person can cure, treat, or prescribe a treatment for cancer.

    (b) Dispensing drugs, medicines, and devices. -- A person may not sell, offer to sell, or give away a drug, medicine, or device that the manufacturer or seller represents as a cancer cure unless a physician or dentist prescribes the drug, medicine, or device.
