§ 12-308. Staff

  •    (a) Staff. --

       (1) An authority may employ:

          (i) a secretary, who shall serve as executive director; and

          (ii) technical experts and other officers, agents, and employees, permanent and temporary.

       (2) An authority shall determine the qualifications, duties, and compensation of its employees.

    (b) Legal services. -- For legal services, an authority may use the chief law officer of the political subdivision or may employ its own counsel and legal staff.

    (c) Delegation of powers and duties. -- An authority may delegate to one or more of its agents or employees the powers or duties it considers proper.
