§ 5-1307. Use of measures

(a) Use of measurements. -- The measures in § 5-1303 through 5-1306 of this subtitle shall be used by the local departments and the Administration, and may be used by an entity that enters into a memorandum of understanding with the Department, to measure the efficiency and the effectiveness of child welfare services.
(b) Use of information. -- Information collected by the State or federal government regarding the State child welfare system may also be used by the entities in subsection (a) of this section to measure the effectiveness of the child welfare system, including:
(1) the Maryland child and family services review;
(2) the adoption and foster care analysis and reporting system criteria; and
(3) the L. J. V. Massinga consent decree criteria.
