TITLE 15. BALTIMORE CITY COMMUNITY ENHANCEMENT TRANSIT-ORIENTED DEVELOPMENT FUND |
§ 15-101. Definitions

(a) In general. -- In this title the following words have the meanings indicated.
(b) Financial assistance. -- "Financial assistance" means a grant or loan from the Fund.
(c) Fund. -- "Fund" means the Baltimore City Community Enhancement Transit-Oriented Development Fund.
(d) Qualified project area. -- "Qualified project area" means a community that is:
(1) located in Baltimore City; and
(2) directly impacted by and within 0.5 miles of the boundary of a development that has been designated as a transit-oriented development.
(e) Qualified recipient. -- "Qualified recipient" means an entity that is based in and serves a qualified project area and is:
(1) a not for profit community-based organization that has experience in making physical, human capital, and economic investments to rebuild communities; or
(2) a community development corporation.
(f) Transit-oriented development. -- "Transit-oriented development" has the meaning stated in § 7-101 of the Transportation Article.
