§ 7-802. Notice to sentencing judge of parole release hearing

(a) Notice to sentencing judge. -- If an inmate is sentenced to the Division of Correction and, at the time of sentencing, the sentencing judge makes a written request for notification, the Commission shall:
(1) at least 90 days before the parole release hearing, notify the sentencing judge in writing that a parole release hearing is scheduled for the inmate; and
(2) promptly notify the sentencing judge of the Commission's final decision regarding parole for the inmate.
(b) Review by inmate of recommendation of sentencing judge. -- The Commission shall make any recommendation made by the sentencing judge at the time of sentencing available for review by the inmate or the inmate's representative under § 7-303(b) of this title.
