§ 8-211. Prohibited defenses; lesser included crime status not available

(a) Certain defenses prohibited. -- It is not a defense to a crime under § 8-206, § 8-207, or § 8-209 of this subtitle involving money, goods, services, and other things of value with a value not exceeding $ 100 that the value of the money, goods, services, and other things of value at issue is more than $ 100.
(b) Lesser included crime status not available unless charged. -- Unless specifically charged by the State, a violation of § 8-206, § 8-207, or § 8-209 of this subtitle involving money, goods, services, and other things of value with a value not exceeding $ 100, may not be considered a lesser included crime of any other crime.
