§ 5-709. Person reporting possible grounds for disciplinary action against nurse

(a) Definitions. --
(1) In this section the following words have the meanings indicated.
(2) "Board" means the State Board of Nursing.
(3) "Licensed practical nurse" has the meaning stated in § 8-101 of the Health Occupations Article.
(4) "Registered nurse" has the meaning stated in § 8-101 of the Health Occupations Article.
(b) In general. -- An individual who acts without malice is not civilly liable for making a report as required by § 8-505 of the Health Occupations Article.
