§ 1-609. Warrants; writs

  •    (a) Warrants. -- When and in the manner authorized by law, a District Court judge may issue:

       (1) Warrants of arrest; and

       (2) Warrants for search and seizure or for interception of communications.

    (b) Writs. -- A District Court judge may issue:

       (1) Writs of habeas corpus ad testificandum or ad prosequendum; and

       (2) Writs of error coram nobis.
