§ 5-524. Transactions with other cooperatives

  •    (a) Agreements with other cooperatives. -- The board of directors of a cooperative by resolution may authorize the cooperative to enter into agreements for conducting its business with any other Maryland or foreign cooperative, association, or corporation formed on a cooperative basis.

    (b) Use of same business methods. -- These cooperatives, associations, and corporations may agree to unite in using or may separately use the same methods, means, and agencies for conducting their respective business.

    (c) Marketing agencies. -- These cooperatives, associations, and corporations may use common marketing agencies and their members may make any necessary agreements to effect these purposes.
