§ 8-709. License -- Waiver and issuance

  •    (a) Waiver. -- The Commission may grant a waiver to the requirement for a license only if the applicant:

       (1) pays the appropriate application fee; and

       (2) provides adequate evidence that the applicant:

          (i) meets the qualifications otherwise required by this subtitle; and

          (ii) has an active license from another state with licensing requirements that are at least equivalent to the licensing requirements of this State.

    (b) Issuance of license. -- The Commission shall issue the license to each applicant who meets the requirements of this subtitle and the regulations adopted under it.
