§ 17-449. Definitions.

  •    (a) In general. -- In this part the following words have the meanings indicated.

    (b) Amusement device. -- "Amusement device" means:

       (1) a free-play console machine;

       (2) a free-play pinball machine; and

       (3) a coin-operated game.

    (c) Coin-operated game. -- "Coin-operated game" means a device for public amusement, the operation of which requires the insertion of a coin or token, with the result of the operation depending on the skill of the operator, including:

       (1) a claw machine;

       (2) a shuffleboard;

       (3) a mechanical bowling game;

       (4) a single-coin pinball machine; and

       (5) any other similar device.
