§ 17-1407. Acting as promoter without license

(a) Prohibited act. -- Except as otherwise provided in this subtitle, a person may not act as a promoter in the State unless the person has a promoter license.
(b) Penalty. -- A person who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and, on conviction, is subject to a fine not exceeding $ 5,000 or imprisonment not exceeding 6 months or both.
