§ 3-402. Practice through corporation, limited liability company, or partnership authorized

(a) In general. --
(1) Subject to the provisions of this subtitle, a licensed architect may practice architecture for others through:
(i) a corporation as an officer, director, employee, or agent of the corporation;
(ii) a limited liability company as a member, employee, or agent of the limited liability company; or
(iii) a partnership as a partner, employee, or agent of the partnership.
(2) Subject to the provisions of this subtitle, a corporation, limited liability company, or partnership may provide architectural services through a licensed architect.
(b) Application of title. -- A licensed architect who practices architecture through a corporation, limited liability company, or partnership under this subtitle is subject to all of the provisions of this title that relate to practicing architecture.
(c) Liability not affected. --
(1) A corporation, limited liability company, or partnership that provides architectural services under this subtitle is not, by its compliance with this subtitle, relieved of any responsibility that the corporation, limited liability company, or partnership may have for an act or omission of its officer, director, member, partner, employee, or agent.
(2) An individual who practices architecture through a corporation, limited liability company, or partnership is not, by reason of the individual's employment or other relationship with the corporation, limited liability company, or partnership, relieved of any individual responsibility that the individual may have regarding that practice.
