§ 18-3A-04. Criminal records check

(a) Required. -- Except for registration under § 18-3A-03(d) of this subtitle, the Secretary shall conduct a State and national criminal records check of an applicant before registering the applicant.

(b) Fee. -- An applicant shall pay to the Secretary the cost of any background checks before the applicant may be registered.
