§ 16-5B-14. Schedule of payments to appraisers on completion of work

(a) In general. -- Except in cases of breach of contract or substandard performance of services, an appraisal management company shall pay an appraiser for the completion of an appraisal or valuation assignment within 60 days after the appraiser provides the completed appraisal or valuation study to the appraisal management company or its assignee.

(b) Limited disciplinary action. -- The Commission may not bring disciplinary action under § 16-702.2 of this title or recommend criminal sanctions under § 16-706 of this title based solely on subsection (a) of this section.
