§ 15-603. Misrepresentation as authorized practitioner

  •    (a) Land surveying. -- Unless authorized under this title to practice land surveying without the supervision required under § 15-303 of this title, a person may not represent to the public, by use of a title, including "land surveyor", "professional land surveyor", "licensed land surveyor", or "registered land surveyor", by use of the term "land surveying" in the name of the person's business activity, by description of services, methods, or procedures, or otherwise, that the person is authorized to practice land surveying in the State.

    (b) Property line surveying. -- Unless authorized under this title to practice property line surveying without the supervision required under § 15-303 of this title, a person may not represent to the public, by use of a title, including "licensed property line surveyor" or "property line surveyor", by description of services, methods, or procedures, or otherwise, that the person is authorized to practice property line surveying in the State.
