§ 14-702. Board of Public Works

(a) Appropriations to Mayor and Council. -- The Board of Public Works shall pay the following sums to the Mayor and Council of Ocean City for the Ocean City Convention Hall:
(1) Fiscal year 1981 $ 224,000;
(2) Fiscal year 1982 $ 199,200;
(3) Fiscal year 1983 $ 174,400;
(4) Fiscal year 1984 $ 149,600;
(5) Fiscal year 1985 $ 124,800.
(b) Capital improvements and capital repairs. -- The Board of Public Works shall approve expending funds for capital improvements and capital repairs to the Convention Hall to the extent authorized in the operating or capital budget of the State. However, after December 31, 1985 no funds shall be expended by the State for capital improvements or capital repairs to the Ocean City Convention Hall.
(c) Names of sections of Hall. -- Any name given to any section of the Convention Hall by official action of the Board of Public Works may be changed subsequently only by action of the Board.
