§ 6-601. Beer, wine and liquor license -- Conference center facility

(a) Applicability. -- This subsection applies to any conference center facility:
(1) Jointly owned, operated, or financed by the Maryland Stadium Authority and a political subdivision or an instrumentality of that political subdivision that is physically connected to an adjacent hotel; and
(2) That provides food and beverage service to registered guests at that hotel.
(b) Authorized. -- There is a special Class B license, known as Class B-BWL (H-C), that shall be available for issuance to a management company of the facility described in subsection (a) of this section by the board of license commissioners in the jurisdiction in which the facility is located. The license may authorize only on-sale privileges at the facility and the adjacent hotel, including service to registered guests in their rooms.
(c) Fee. -- The annual license fee is $ 2,500.
(d) Number of licenses; application for license. -- The provisions of § 9-102 and 10-103(b)(12) and (15) of this article do not apply to this license.
(e) Food-to-beverage ratio. -- In any jurisdiction that has a food-to-alcoholic beverage ratio requirement for a Class B (on-site) hotel and restaurant license, the laws and regulations pertaining to the ratio requirement in that jurisdiction apply to this license.
