§ 18-101. Power of County Commissioners to regulate retail sale -- Talbot County

  •    (a) In general. -- The Talbot County Commissioners shall regulate the retail sale of alcoholic beverages within Talbot County.

    (b) Controlling statutes. -- Any law enacted by the Talbot County Commissioners pursuant to this section shall prevail over any provision of the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland regulating the retail sale of alcoholic beverages. However, unless and until the Talbot County Commissioners enact a law which is contrary to a provision of the Code of Public General Laws regulating the retail sale of alcoholic beverages, the provisions of the Code of Public General Laws shall remain in effect.
