§ 9H. Power of Garrett County to fix, impose, and collect development impact fees

(a) Ordinance or resolution for financing capital costs. -- The County Commissioners of Garrett County, by ordinance or resolution, may fix, impose, and provide for the collection of development impact fees for financing, in whole or in part, the capital costs of additional or expanded public works, improvements, and facilities required to accommodate new construction or development.

(b) Notice and hearing. -- Before adopting an ordinance or resolution under this section, the County Commissioners shall hold a public hearing and provide reasonable notice of the hearing.
